A few things about us...

We are an exciting and professional business based in the Islands of Orkney. Situated on the West Mainland in a rural setting and surrounded by over six thousand years of history. The business was founded, by the need, for a better range of metal furniture. This included better quality, better choice and better value with an original design. There is a wealth of local artifacts that can inspire future designs. Together with our constant research and development program we aim to provide a superior design and quality of furniture.

Our Staff...
Robert and Kathryn, a Husband and Wife team, set-up the business and work as official partners. Managing the furniture production with over ten years prior experience in the manufacturing industry, eight years being a professional welder, Robert also holds a Diploma in Design and Innovation from the Open University.  This has given him the experience and skill needed to produce a whole set of great looking quality furniture.  Our excellent customer services and finances are handled by Kathryn, helped by years of experience in a busy city office.

Our Production Facilities...
Our workshop has bending tools specially designed to allow us to produce consistently excellent quality furniture.  The furniture frames are of a fully welded construction using heavy duty welding equipment to provide strong and durable furniture.  Beware of sub-standard manufacturers who only spot weld their frames!   Items are also manufactured from recyclable materials: Steel, Glass, Wood, Fabric and environmentally friendly foam.

Our Pledge...
We aim to offer an individual and unrivalled degree of service, endeavouring to meet all your personal requirements.  The business makes every effort to minimize energy use, waste and environmental pollution to help provide a sustainable future for us all and especially our children.  We purchase our electricity from 100% renewable energy sources, with a RSPB tariff from Scottish Hydro Electric, to help reduce the production of 'greenhouse' gasses whilst also helping to nurture our country's growing renewable energy industry.

THANK YOU...

Dear Bob,
I write to say how delighted my wife and I are with the four St Magnus design chairs which have arrived so well packed by you and safely delivered by McAdie & Reeve.
We are delighted with the ImagineHowe, chairs and look forward to showing them to our family and friends. They will be a constant reminder of the happy times we have spent in the past in Orkney and to many we hope to spend there in the future with our daughter and seven year old grandson.
We look forward to keeping in touch, and wish you and your family every continued success with your imaginative and inspiring work.
Yours sincerely,
Charles Wickam-Jones

Crafts pull in the crowds at Tankerness House
More than 1,000 people have visited the exhibition of new craftwork in the front of Tankerness House in Kirkwall, since it opened ten days ago.
The Organiser, local photographer, Pam Farmer, from Sandwick, said that the response so far had bee "brilliant, and had achieved what we set out to."
The exhibition is for work by craftspeople who have started up in business in the last two years, some of whom haven't shown their products in a public space before.
Pam (centre) said that most interest had been generated by Racheal Harris from Rousay's driftwood and recycled material chair (to the right of her in the photograph); the metal furniture created by Robert Beharie from Rendall (extreme right); silver jewellery produced by Stewart Moar from Stenness and decorated glassware by Stuart Wylie of Deerness.
Pam Farmer added:"So many people have said they didn't realise these crafts existed until they came along to the exhibition. It has been a fantastic stepping stone for many of the businesses involved. It's been amazing."
